Saiwaroon Chumpavan has an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (Teaching English as a second language) at the College of Education, Illinois State University, (ISU) Normal, Illinois, USA.  She works in the Department of Western Languages, Faculty of Humanities, SWU, Bangkok, Thailand. She is currently engaged in a one-year research project, “Developing Thai Qualifications Framework (TQF 1) for a Bachelor’s Degree in English,” funded by the Office of the Higher Education Commission, Ministry of Education. She has presented at a large number of international events. Saiwaroon organised and hosted the second ESBB conference in Bangkok.
